堪忍の忍というは 刃の下に心と言う字を書くぞ 

The “Nin” in “Kannin” has the character for “Heart” under the character for “Sword.”

この心の意味を眺めてみたら 下の心をむやみに欠いたんでは上から刃が落ちて来るぞ 

If you look at the meaning of this “Heart”, it means that if you recklessly lack heart, the sword will fall.

上から刃が落ちてくると、むやみに欠いた心に傷をつけるぞ

If the sword falls, it will recklessly hurt the lacking heart.
